Bin bags and gloves? Check. Rubbish? Check. Litter picker heroes… are you ready?

Futures and local community groups will be taking part in the Great British Spring Clean this month by hosting litter picking events across Derbyshire and Northamptonshire. The nationwide campaign is run by Keep Britain Tidy and aims to protect the environment and wildlife by asking people to spare a little bit of their time to pick up rubbish.

Throughout the week starting 18 March, colleagues from various teams at Futures will be taking part in five litter picks and we’d love to build our army of #LitterHeroes with customers too.

While it’d be amazing if we could cover all our customer communities, if any of these locations aren’t near to you, then there’s still time to sign-up and pledge some litter picking minutes with Keep Britain Tidy! The official campaign runs from 15 to 31 March and you can take part on your own, with family and friends, a group, business or even schools, click here for more information.
