We’ve been shortlisted for Generation Next’s Investors in Young Talent Award. This award highlights organisations that actively contribute to the career development of young professionals.
We invest in our colleagues and ways to develop young talent in our sector. That’s why we’re a Generation Next partner, working to give young people the skills and opportunities they need to get ahead.
One of these young professionals is also up for a few awards!
Nicole has been shortlisted for the Customer Service Award, the Rising Star Award and The Future Leader Award. She joined Generation Next in July 21 and has progressed to become an Ambassador for Young Professionals in Procurement. Since January 2024, she’s also been acting as Board Champion.
“I initially heard about Generation Next during an East Midlands Chamber event in 2021. I never dreamed that becoming a member would give me access to the amazing and different ways to develop, grow, and be recognised. I would like to thank all at Futures, especially my manager for allowing me the time and support to grow as an individual throughout my professional career.”
Lindsey Williams, Chief Executive, comments: “It’s great to hear that Futures Housing Group has been shortlisted for the Investors in Young Talent Award. I’m also delighted but not surprised at the news of Nicole been shortlisting for awards. She epitomises exactly what Generation Next sets out to achieve, which is developing our people and has shown how, through the opportunities that have been opened up to her - what a journey you can go on. Although I sadly can’t be at the ceremony, I’ll be waiting to hear how she does.”
Keep your fingers crossed for us at Generation Next’s awards ceremony in July!
