What happened
We were joined by a customer member of our Insight Committee for the walkabout and we found the area to be in good condition and well maintained.
We're aware fly-tipping has been an issue in this area, so we are looking at strategies to manage this. The communities housing officer will usually be around this area twice a week too, which has meant the fly-tipping has been dealt with quickly after reporting.

Church Street

What happened
The area was well maintained, all gardens were in a very good condition, so there was no actions that we needed to raise from this walkabout.
Brunting Road

Carey Close

Ocean House

What happened
There were several issues our teams spotted in this area, including fly-tipping, abandoned shopping trolleys and a manhole cover that could be a trip hazard. We cleared the fly-tipping on the same day and we've been in touch with relevant colleagues or partners to action the rest.
We noticed several overgrown green spaces and hedgerows on land and properties not owned by Futures. We've reported what we can and we're going to ask local partners to spend some time with us, so we can work together and develop a joint plan to improve the overall estate management of the area.
