What happened

Overall the area was found to be in good condition. Concerns were raised to us about fly-tipping, so we removed this and then posted leaflets with fly-tipping advice through nearby homes, and put up signs to warn of the dangers and consequences of fly-tipping.

Customers also asked us about the need for some additional street lighting, which we have passed on to the local authority to help with. There was also a question raised about moving a bin store, so we're currently looking at various options of where else this could go.

Overall, the area has been significantly improved. The overgrown trees and grass areas have been trimmed and maintained. The car parks, previously full of debris, have been thoroughly swept and cleared. The bin area has been cleaned and swept. The water tower area, which was very overgrown, has been cut back. A bicycle storage area will be installed soon. Additionally, the car parking spaces have been correctly numbered.
