West End

What happened?
Overall, the area was in good condition with a little litter. We're going to arrange for some litter picking, and we've spoken to a handful of residents about garden issues.
Byron Avenue
- Meeting where and when: Top of Byron Avenue, DE55 7JZ on 31 March at 11am.
- What streets: Byron Avenue, Milton Avenue.
Maple Drive
- Meeting where and when: Bottom of Maple Drive, DE56 1LR on 17 April at 10am.
- What streets: Park Road, Maple Drive, Alder Road, Ladywell Ct, Cedar Ave, Chestnut Ave, Lime Crescent, Willow Grove, Cedar Grove, and Elm Ave.
Rookery Close
- Meeting where and when: Bottom of Rookery Close, DE56 0LD on 26 March at 10am.
- What streets: Rookery Close, Hunter Drive, John O'Gaunt Way and Whitemoor Lane.
Kingsway
- Meeting where and when: Valley View, DE75 7QQ on 3 March at 10:30am.
- What streets: Kingsway and surrounding area.
What happened?
- Generally, the estate is in a good condition however we found some privately owned properties had untidy gardens. We also found some issues with debris and potholes in the road but we've contacted the local authorities so this can be investigated. We've also contacted our grounds maintenance teams so they can offer their support too.
Andrews Drive
- Meeting where and when: Neal Court Community Centre, NG16 4HQ on 4 March at 10am.
- What streets: Andrews Drive, Turner Avenue, Smith Drive.
What happened
We were joined by the Community Safety Partnership team at Amber Valley Borough Council for this walkabout and we did find a few issues, including potholes, fly-tipping and bins not placed back in the bin store.
We've contacted the relevant organisations to help with the potholes and our relevant teams to help with other issues found. We also will be sending a letter to residents about the bin store.
Circuit Drive
- Meeting where and when: Circuit Drive Car park, NG10 2GH on 12 March at 10:30am.
- What streets: Station Road, Circuit Drive.
What happened?
We found the neighbourhood was generally doing really well. The only issue we picked up on was flytipping in the the car parks so we're planning on continuing to work with the local residents to resolve this.
Weston Spot Close
- Meeting where and when: Weston Spot Close, DE5 8JR on 18 March at 10:30am.
- What streets: Weston Spot Close, Oak Avenue, Willow Avenue, Ash Crescent, Woodside Avenue, Almond Avenue, Pear Tree .
We found a few actions to raise on this walkabout, including fly-tipping, collapsed fencing, a car parked on grass and a caravan on a driveway (which can be a fire safety issue). These will all be raised directly with the customers.
Booth Street
