At Futures, we're always thinking of ways we can give a little something back to the communities where our customers live. If you haven't spotted us already, you may start to notice some of team Futures in your neighbourhoods over the next few months planting trees.

We're taking part in The Queen's Green Canopy project. Originally an initiative to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee, the scheme was extended in honour of her passing. We actually started the project last year, but the bulk of our fruit trees will be in the ground before the end of the planting season in the next few months.

We decided to plant 70 trees for the 70 years of the Queen's reign, and we're doing this in both regions whew our customers live - meaning there'll be 140 trees in total planted over Derbyshire and Daventry.

Take a look at the video below to see what we've already planted and where we'll be.

70 for 70 tree planting

We'll be busy planting 140 trees in over 20 locations across the East Midlands.

From Derbyshire down to Daventry, take a look to see if we'll be planting on a street near you.
