As part of Futures in the Community Day next Wednesday, we've got some big plans to help give a little something back to the village of Ironville.
If you don't know what Futures in the Community Day is yet, make sure you catch-up on the activities released so far and why our customers inspired the day.
What's the plan for Ironville?
- Three large skips will be spaced out across the village, for the community to use to dispose of household waste, from 10am - 12pm.
- The OAP Centre, Openacre will be open as a free warm space from 11am - 2pm. Everyone is welcome to join, for free drinks, cake and a good old chat.
- Fruit trees and shrubbery will be planted in some areas and communal gardens will be tidied.
- We'll be litter picking throughout the whole village.
We really can't wait to see as many of you as possible! Keep checking back at our latest news stories or follow us on Facebook or Twitter for plans being revealed daily.
The skips are located at:
- King William Street, NG16 5NG
- Elizabeth Park & Albert Street, NG16 5ND
- Market Street, rear car park, NG15 5NJ
Amber Valley Borough Council will also be available on the day helping man the skips and street cleaning.
If you need assistance with bringing items to the skip, then we may be able to come and collect. Please ask any of team Futures or Amber Valley Borough Council for help on the day.
