Abbey Road, West Bridgford

21 'gas free' affordable homes using energy efficient measures such as solar panels, hot water cylinders, electric radiators and storage heaters.

 

16 of the homes are apartments for social housing and five are shared ownership houses. Every home achieves the highest Energy Performance Certificate rating of EPC Band A.

Thanks to major investment in the building's sustainability, the refurbished building is home to 21 one and two bedroom flats to support couples, families and single people.

 

Each flat benefits from high heat retention storage heaters and solar panels on the roof, helping achieve the highest Energy Performance Certificate rating EPC Band A.

The 34 homes were built with a timber frame system which reduces the development's carbon footprint to more traditional construction techniques.

 

The scheme features a mixture of much-needed, affordable two, three and four bedroom homes for shared ownership, rent to buy and affordable rent.

We acquired 120 homes on this much larger development built by Miller Homes, available for affordable rent and shared ownership.

 

The homes are a mixture of terraced and semi-detached houses and ground/first-floor maisonettes.
