We are looking for a special someone who’ll take responsibility for the first impression of a customers’ new home. As you close the door behind you, you’ll want the next person walking through it to see your achievements.

A well as showcasing your excellent eye for detail you’ll pay particular attention to the restoration of areas affected by damp and mould.

As part of our dedicated team, no two days will be the same as you will also provide a relief service to ensure our general, communal areas and community centres are tip-top too.

You’ll need your full driving licence and relevant experience in a similar role, and most importantly want to work hard to get the job done.

A few key points from our role profile:

• Undertake the internal and external cleaning to properties and associated areas i.e. Office stores, Yard, communal areas, community centres etc.
• Undertake the cleaning of Damp and Mould in customer’s homes
• Undertake other duties as requested by the Supervisor(s)/Company Manager
• Assist in the general decorating dwellings.
• Keep accurate vehicle, plant equipment and work programme records.
• Ensure waste is managed in line with the business certified environmental system.

Your weekly hours of work would be 37 with 30 minutes break for lunch break, paid monthly. You'll also get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and concessionary days holiday at Christmas.

To be considered you’ll need to have:

• Minimum NVQ level 2 (or City & Guilds) in Fenestration or Carpentry & Joinery
• Knowledge and experience of Health & Safety issues relating to repairs & maintenance & construction trades.
• A full UK driving licence

• Minimise disruption to customers and ensure compliance with safe methods of working in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act, Building Regulations & FHG’s Health, Safety and Environment Policy.
• Maintain effective communication with the Supervisory/ administration and management staff passing on information, concerns and problems with regard to any jobs.
• Attend pre-arranged planned, responsive or void appointments to carry out work or contact customers directly to make access arrangements.
