We’re looking for safety aware, detail focused apprentices with motivation to succeed in a role where no two days are the same. Ideally, you’ll have a full UK driving licence or be working towards gaining one and level 1 Functional skills in Maths and English or GCSE equivalent.

Our Daventry Repairs Depot is located on Sopwith Way, NN11 8PB, and is home to a friendly and supportive team looking after our Northamptonshire Customers and properties.

We’re looking for a Community Safety Manager to join Futures and lead our specialist service within the wider Communities Team. If you’re passionate about creating safer places, guiding people through difficult situations and leading services that make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with strong housing knowledge, experience of anti-social behaviour and hate crime management, and the confidence to lead a team handling complex, sensitive and high impact work.

You’ll lead our Community Safety Team day to day, providing direction on ASB, hate crime, domestic abuse and safeguarding. You’ll make sure cases are managed with care, risk is understood, legal tools are used appropriately and customers get the right help at the right time.

Working closely with colleagues, external partners and multi-agency forums such as MAPPA, MARAC and Community Safety Partnerships, you’ll help deliver coordinated action that puts victims’ needs at the heart of our work, tackles unacceptable behaviour and helps communities feel reassured.

You’ll bring excellent knowledge of housing law and legislation relating to ASB, strong people management skills and the ability to solve problems fairly and logically. You’ll also be confident using data, maintaining accurate records, managing performance and working with partners to achieve positive outcomes.

• Lead the Community Safety Team, including performance, staffing, risk and complex cases.
• Provide direction on ASB, hate crime and domestic abuse case management, including early intervention and legal action where needed.
• Review ASB cases, customer risk and team performance using a harm based approach.
• Build trusted partnerships with external agencies, helping coordinate responses through forums such as MAPPA, MARAC and Community Safety Partnerships.
• Respond to safeguarding and domestic abuse concerns, making sure issues are escalated swiftly and sensitively.
• Use feedback, complaints learning and performance data to improve services and report progress clearly.

We’re looking for a Construction Quality Inspector to join Futures and play an important role in making sure our development projects are built safely, carefully and to the high standards our customers deserve.

This is a great opportunity for someone with practical construction experience who enjoys being on site, checking the detail and helping project teams deliver quality homes through to handover.

Working with our Senior Construction Quality Inspectors, Head of Programme Delivery, employers’ agents, contractors and project teams, you’ll support inspections across development schemes. You’ll monitor workmanship and materials, record progress and help spot issues early so they can be resolved in the right way.

You’ll carry out weekly technical inspections, snagging and handover checks, keeping accurate records and providing clear updates to the Futures scheme project manager. You’ll also support adoption and end of defects inspections, making sure outstanding items are recorded and followed up.

You’ll bring relevant practical construction experience, ideally from site supervision, inspection, clerk of works, trades or another technical role. You’ll need a Level 3 construction or built environment qualification, or equivalent experience, and an HNC or HND in Construction, Surveying or the Built Environment would be a bonus.

• Monitor materials and workmanship to make sure schemes meet contract, drawings and agreed specifications.

We’re really proud of our Repairs Team at Futures and the commitment to providing our customers with the best service possible on our mission to deliver ‘Great Places’, ‘Great Services’ and ‘Great Tomorrows’. Due to internal promotion, we’re now on the hunt for a special person to join the team as an Electrician.

You’ll have the best support too as our Work Planners will coordinate your diary allowing you and the rest of the Repairs Team to be out there doing what you do best, putting our customer first.

To be considered you’ll need to have:

• NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations & AM2 (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition of the Electrical Regulations, BS7671* would consider 17th edition.
• Full clean UK, manual driving licence
• PAT testing experience and holds C&G 2377-22 and C&G 2377 -32 (Desirable)
• Qualified to C&G2391 Inspection and Testing or 2394/2395 Inspection and testing.

You’ll have use of one of our company vans for visiting our customers’ homes and you’ll love the variety this role brings. Above all you’ll take pride in a job well done, knowing that you’ve made a real difference to our customers.

You’ll be involved in a variety of activities from the detail of data entry to processing income payments and you’ll also be instrumental in achieving month and year end deadlines for the company.

You’ll be the kind of person who’ll maintain a positive attitude while managing a high volume of workload along with being computer literate and handling income payments with ease.

You’ll be processing vital financial information so that attention to detail of yours will be critical as will your good understanding of working within the boundaries of financial regulations. If you happen to have worked in the housing sector that would be helpful too but not a deal breaker.

We’re on the lookout for a General Yard and Stores Person to join our Repairs Team and support the planned move of our depot. If you’re practical, organised, safety conscious and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a great opportunity to play an important part in the day to day running and upkeep of our yard and stores area. You’ll keep the site well maintained and easy to use, manage incoming items, monitor stock levels and make sure everything is where it needs to be.

You’ll make sure the depot works well for colleagues using it every day. From recording deliveries and arranging waste collections, to taking items out to operatives on site, your work will help teams deliver services safely and efficiently.

At interview you’ll need to show us your full UK driving licence. A forklift licence and knowledge of building maintenance products would be a bonus, but they’re not deal breakers. More importantly, you’ll be organised, willing to learn, aware of health and safety requirements and comfortable working with colleagues to get things done.

We know roles like this haven’t always attracted a wide mix of applicants, and we’re keen to change that. If you have the right attitude, take pride in being organised and are keen to learn, we’d encourage you to apply, even if you don’t tick every single box.
