You’ll take great pride in your work, wanting to showcase your eye for detail in the quality service you provide during this amazing chance to gain excellent knowledge and skills in repairs and maintenance.

We’re looking for safety aware, detail focused apprentices with motivation to succeed in a role where no two days are the same. Ideally, you’ll have a full UK driving licence or be working towards gaining one and level 1 Functional skills in Maths and English or GCSE equivalent.

Our Daventry Repairs Depot is located on Sopwith Way, NN11 8PB, and is home to a friendly and supportive team looking after our Northamptonshire Customers and properties.

We’re looking for a Business Administration Apprentice – Systems & Data to join our friendly and proactive People Team. If you’re organised and curious about how HR systems, employee data and good administration support people across our organisation, this could be a great place to start.

You don’t need to know it all already, just bring a positive attitude, reliability and an open mind.

You’ll keep employee information accurate, secure and up to date, while learning how HR processes, systems and people data support colleagues helping ensure they have a smooth, accurate and supportive experience while supporting the organisation to make better decisions.

As part of the role, you’ll learn how to:

• Assist with HR administration, system tasks and data checks
• Help produce people reports, HR information packs and simple summaries
• Contribute to HR audit information, compliance checks and routine data returns
• Support colleagues with HR system queries and guidance
• Spot errors, gaps or things that do not look quite right
• Handle confidential information carefully and professionally

Who we’re looking for and what you’ll need

You don’t need years of experience, just the right attitude and a genuine interest in HR, systems and data. You’ll need to:

• Have good attention to detail and enjoy keeping things organised
• Be comfortable using IT, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams and willing to develop these skills
• Be able to follow instructions and processes while communicating clearly and professionally
• Be able to understand the importance of confidentiality
• Be open to learning, feedback and solving problems in a logical, step-by-step way
• Have GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent, including English and Maths, or Level 2 Functional Skills and be committed to completing the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship programme

We’re looking for two exceptional investigators with an eye for detail and a natural talent for building relationships, to join our small, proactive Complaints Team.

You’ll be part of a wider Customer Experience team who will need your support to consistently deliver effortless experiences to our customers.

You will be a driver of change by collating trend data and communicating findings to the business to inform service change preventing complaints from occurring, escalating, or reoccurring.

You’re someone with a practical approach to problem solving who, no matter what the problem or medium can communicate effectively, clearly, and accurately putting into practice those excellent Customer Complaints skills you’ve developed in your career so far.

With your proven track record you’ll be adept at investigating stage 1 and 2 complaints and preparing information for the Housing Ombudsman Futures will be the perfect platform to showcase your strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Adopt a fair and impartial approach to visiting customers in their homes to understand the complaint and collate any evidence.
• Ensure a fair, logical, and consistent approach to agreeing compensation in line with our policies and procedures.

• Prepare high level written complaint responses fit for scrutiny from the Housing Ombudsman Service.

• Prepare documentation requested by the Housing Ombudsman Service.
• Prepare detailed reports and share learnings from complaints to prevent repeat complaints from occurring including with the senior management team.

We’re really proud of our Repairs Team at Futures and the commitment to providing our customers with the best service possible on our mission to deliver ‘Great Places’, ‘Great Services’ and ‘Great Tomorrows’. Due to internal promotion, we’re now on the hunt for a special person to join the team as an Electrician.

You’ll have the best support too as our Work Planners will coordinate your diary allowing you and the rest of the Repairs Team to be out there doing what you do best, putting our customer first.

To be considered you’ll need to have:

• NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations & AM2 (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition of the Electrical Regulations, BS7671* would consider 17th edition.
• Full clean UK, manual driving licence
• PAT testing experience and holds C&G 2377-22 and C&G 2377 -32 (Desirable)
• Qualified to C&G2391 Inspection and Testing or 2394/2395 Inspection and testing.

You’ll have use of one of our company vans for visiting our customers’ homes and you’ll love the variety this role brings. Above all you’ll take pride in a job well done, knowing that you’ve made a real difference to our customers.

• To receive repair requests or direct instruction, analyse the extent of work required and carry out the necessary repairs to rectify the fault.
• To carry out a variety of electrical inspection functions relating to housing repairs and maintenance as required including PAT on tools and equipment.

We’re looking for a Joiner to join our supportive Repairs Team based in Leabrooks. If you’re looking for a new challenge with an ambitious organisation, come and help us deliver our vision of “Providing quality homes and services for better futures.”

This is a great opportunity to use your building maintenance and construction background in a hands-on role. You’ll work with the team on joinery repairs and replacements, delivering a polished, tidy finish in and around customers’ homes.

You’ll take pride in high-quality workmanship and be friendly and helpful, just what’s needed when working in our customers’ homes.

You’ll need to have:

• NVQ level 2/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in joinery or carpentry
• Knowledge and skills to carry out a range of carpentry and joinery works as your main trade
• Skills across other trades (desirable)
• Able to work on your own initiative (including lone working) and take responsibility for health and safety
• A full UK driving licence (company van provided)

• Carry out a range of joinery repair and replacement works (plus some multi-skilled tasks) in and around domestic properties
• Work safely and minimise disruption to customers, following agreed methods of working and relevant safety requirements

At Futures we're committed to providing our customers with the best service possible on our mission to deliver ‘Great Places’, ‘Great Services’ and ‘Great Tomorrows’, could you be one of the two people needed to complete our awesome team as Painter Decorator & General Duties Operative?

You'll have variety in this role as your duties will include both external and internal painting and decorating works including the treatment and restoration of areas affected by damp and mould.

To be considered you’ll need a recognised formal apprenticeship qualification (or equivalent), such as a City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in painting.

You'll be able to demonstrate your talent and the skills gained in similar roles, along with a working knowledge and understanding of health & safety and COSHH legislation.

Your full UK (manual) driving licence is essential as you’ll have use of a company van, complying with the standard requirements of our company insurers.

A few key points from our role profile:

• Undertake the internal and external decoration to properties and associated areas i.e. communal areas community centres etc.
• Attend damp, mould and condensation (DMC) jobs and treat affected areas with wash and sterilisation treatment, redecorate with paint with fungicidal additive, and anti-condensation coating if required. Ensure the customer is aware of the products used and the necessary precautions to be taken.
• Assess for possible causes of DMC jobs and report back potential solutions for action, including inspections of lofts as necessary.
• Carry out works to alleviate future DMC - remove and relay damaged loft insulation, relay uneven loft insulation, add loft insulation as required.
