We’re excited to share another great success story about one of our customers, Richard, who worked with Daniel, our employability officer, to get back on his feet.
After recovering from surgeries, Richard was eager to return to work and needed help updating his CV. Daniel met with him to discuss his responsibilities and career achievements, then drafted a new CV.
Richard said, “I thought he was very professional, very knowledgeable and also very person-centred. It’s a great additional avenue of housing management from what Futures do.”
He had full control over what to keep and what to change in his CV.
He said, “For me, it was particularly great because it was just to organise my information in a better way. And also I was free to change anything if I wanted to. So, yeah, I did say to Daniel there's a few things [where] I would change some of the wording, and he was quite happy to do that.”
Richard was happy with the CV and got amazing results: four interviews and two job offers!
He said, “I think it is a very good service that should be promoted throughout Futures for individuals. Even more so now that there are policies bringing people back into work, having access to this service is greatly valuable to some of those people.”
