Colleagues at our independent living service, Beep Assist, have been out and about to promote the ways in which technology can help people to live safely and independently, at a recent series of community Memory Café events.

Memory Cafés are a safe and supportive space for people living with dementia and their carers to talk to both professionals and others with similar experiences.

Beep Assist has been invited to Memory Cafés in Swadlincote, Long Eaton and Ilkeston over the last few months where they gave a presentation on the benefits of smart home technology and showcased some of the equipment they offer.

Christine Greaves, Beep Assist Coordinator said: "It was great to be asked to these sessions. There was some really positive feedback and a few enquiries to take our service."

Did you know you don't have to be a Futures customer to access Beep Assist products? Beep Assist offer a range of technology to help people live independently when life gets more challenging, for people of all ages and circumstances. You can see the full range of available products here.
