Homes available now
Customers have started moving in on Bennett Street which will have 109 homes across a mixture of all affordable tenures upon completion. It will include social and affordable rent, shared ownership and Rent to Buy - giving a variety of options for people on their housing journey.
The site, on the former Britannia Mills (built in 1906 by the famous Derbyshire lace maker, William Wallis) is made up of two, three and four bedroom houses and one bedroom flats. It's being built in partnership with Lovell Partnerships, Erewash Borough Council and Homes England, and it's expected all homes will be built in 2026.
Shared ownership
- There's a number of two and three bedroom homes available with shares up to 75%.
- All homes include flooring throughout, parking for two cars and turfed rear garden.
- We advertise the shared ownership homes through local estate agents and online sites like Rightmove and Zoopla.
The social rent homes will be added to the housing register and allocated by the local council just like other social housing homes.
