First homes expected to be ready summer 2025

Bennett Street will have 109 homes across a mixture of all affordable tenures, including social and affordable rent, shared ownership and Rent to Buy, giving a variety of options for people on their housing journey. The site is on the former Britannia Mills, built in 1906 by the famous Derbyshire lace maker, William Wallis. • Two, three and four bedroom houses.
  • One bedroom flats.

The scheme is being built in partnership with Lovell Partnerships, Erewash Borough Council and Homes England.

The social rent homes will be added to the housing register and allocated by the local council just like other social housing homes. We'll advertise the shared ownership homes through local estate agents and online sites like Rightmove and Zoopla.
