Site managers from three of our developments have been recognised as one of the best in the UK after each winning a top housing industry award.
The site managers from Stanley Street in Somercotes, Charters Gate in Castle Donington and Hugglescote Grange in Leicestershire have all won a Pride in the Job 2025 Award from NHBC, the UK’s largest provider of new home warranties and insurance.
Pride in the Job celebrates site managers’ dedication to raising standards in house building, showcasing best practice and rewarding excellence. Thousands of inspections took place to determine the 450 winners from a field of over 8,000 sites!
Steve Wood, CEO at NHBC said: “Congratulations to the sites managers, who have demonstrated the dedication, passion and leadership skills necessary to deliver new homes to exacting construction quality standards.
“Thousands of outstanding site managers have made their mark on the industry in the 45 years Pride in the Job has been running. This continued focus on excellence is vital to support the Government’s 1.5 million new homes target and to ensure that all housing is built to the quality owners and occupiers should expect.”
Neil Laws, Head of Programme Delivery at Futures said: “This is fantastic news to know the site managers responsible for building some of our much-needed affordable homes have won this award. I'd like to thank Miller Homes, Bellway Homes and everyone involved at these sites.
"All our new homes should be safe, high quality and affordable to heat, but this offers extra reassurance of the quality of the homes being built! In particular Stanley Street, as with 191 homes it’s our largest site to date so it’s a brilliant achievement for it to be recognised.”
Each site manager will also go on to compete for Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards in the autumn, with the national Supreme Award winners unveiled in January next year.
