Our people-powered approach has seen us named East Midlands Employer of the year by an elite group of regional businesses.

The award, given by the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, comes only a few months after we picked up the Commitment to People Development award at the Derbyshire Business Awards, also run by the Chamber.

The Group will now represent the region along with six other businesses at the national British Chamber of Commerce grand final on November 28.

Lindsey Williams, Group Chief Executive, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be named as Employer of the Year for the entire East Midlands, it’s a huge accolade and adds to our recent success at the Derbyshire Business Awards.

“The hard work, dedication, talent and attitude of the people at Futures is what makes it a great place to work and I’m so proud of everyone for this massive achievement. It’s an honour to represent the East Midlands in a national final and congratulations to the other businesses that will join us there.”

Scott Knowles, Chief Executive of East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) said: “The Chamber sends its congratulations to all six organisations.

“All six were deserved winners of their respective categories in the recent East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) Business Awards and this latest acknowledgement is hard-earned and well deserved. To walk away with a Chamber award is in itself a fantastic achievement, to go on to further success in the BCC’s regional awards cannot be underestimated.

“We wish all six the very best of luck in the national finals – all will undoubtedly represent the fantastic business community we have here in the East Midlands with distinction.”

The award is the latest people-focused accolade that Futures has earned after gaining the Investors in Excellence and Investors in People Gold standards in 2018.
