Futures Housing Group has been recognised nationally for developing new homes and investing in its staff.
UK housing sector magazine Inside Housing named Futures as one of the UK’s top 50 biggest social housing builders after completing 230 new homes last year.
The Group has also been shortlisted in the Commitment to People Development category at the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards for its investment in training.
Lindsey Williams, the Group’s Chief Executive, said: “This recognition reflects who we are – a people-powered business putting customers first.
“The UK is in the grip of a housing crisis and I’m proud that we’re doing what we can to help ease it through our ambitious development programme.
“And we wouldn’t be able to do that without the talent and commitment of our brilliant teams. That’s why we invest in training and our flexible culture to ensure our people can deliver and develop effectively.”
Futures currently manages around 10,000 homes throughout the East Midlands but secured £310m funding from the bond market earlier this year to continue building over the next few years. The Group has invested heavily in its own leadership academy, professional sponsorship and an agile working approach which means work is a thing you do, not a place you go at Futures.
