Expected to be ready in 2025
Central Avenue will be made up of 38 energy efficient homes. Each home will come with private parking, an electric car charging point, solar panels and thicker insulation to help make them more comfortable and affordable to heat.
Twenty of the homes will be for social rent - to help bring much needed homes to those waiting on the housing register - and 18 of the homes will be for shared ownership. To find out more about how shared ownership works, click here.
- Two and three bedroom houses.
- One bedroom maisonettes.
Our total investment is over £7.1m and the scheme is being built in partnership with DEP Group, United Living and Homes England.
The social rent homes will be added to the housing register and allocated by the local council just like other social housing homes. We'll advertise the shared ownership homes through local estate agents and online sites like Rightmove and Zoopla.
