Daventry and Northampton residents are invited to have their say on West Northamptonshire Council's Public Spaces Protection Orders for their town centres.
A Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) is a power available to councils and they play an important role in reducing antisocial behaviour and protecting the quality of life of those who live, work and visit the two towns.
It can put restrictions on things like drinking alcohol on streets or riding bikes and scooters, and for Northampton, they're proposing to add new restrictions on people sitting or laying in doorways or loitering near cash machines.
West Northamptonshire Council has launched an online survey for both areas and is asking for residents, businesses, community groups and anyone who lives, works in, visits or has an interest in Daventry or Northampton town centre to give their feedback before 22 September.
