Ask to see our ID

Our team members always carry identification.

If someone knocks on your door saying they're from Futures, you can always ask to see their ID.

Every now and again customers tell us that someone has knocked on their door claiming to be from Futures. Our team members will always carry identification and will be happy to show it to you to check.

In most cases we'll only visit your home for a pre-booked appointment, especially if it's for a repair or any work in your home. We would also never ask you to make a payment or take your bank or card details in person.

If you're ever unsure, call our Customer Services team on 0300 456 2531  and we'll be happy to check for you. You don't need to let anyone into your home if they can't prove they work for Futures.

How to report a suspected scammer

Reporting scammers can help stop them from doing it again.

  • If someone's knocked on your door and you believe they're impersonating Futures, or another organisation, you can report it to the police on 101.
  • If you've given money to a scammer, you should also report this to the police on 101.

Scammers are clever and scams can happen to anyone, so please don't feel embarrassed to tell someone - reporting them can help stop the same thing happening to others.
