From 25 November – 10 December we’re supporting White Ribbon Day and the 16 Days of Activism and we’re sharing ways to create a safer environment for women and girls. Look out for videos, case studies and information about supporting people affected by domestic abuse.
Whether it’s highlighting the effect of negative comments about women or removing gender stereotypes in certain careers, all of us can play our part to create a better society.
In November and December, we’re fundraising for White Ribbon through our Just Giving page. Your donations will help them to continue to challenge harmful attitudes or behaviours towards women and girls.
Come along to our Race the Dark event
A key focus for White Ribbon Day is to shine a spotlight on women’s safety especially at night. Campaign supporters are racing to complete a running, walking, or cycling challenge before the sun sets – and we’re holding our own event!
Join us on 25 November from 3:30pm at Shipley Country Park, Slack Lane, Heanor DE75 7GX. We're just doing a short walk and we’re meeting at the Coppiceside Car Park. There’s information about parking online.
