We're kicking off the year with some honourable news as the Chair of a training company which Futures co-owns has been awarded the British Empire Medal.

Will Nixon, Chair of Access Training, has been awarded ‘Medal of the Order of the British Empire’ (BEM) for services to young people in the West Midlands in the King's New Year Honours list.

Access Training provides apprenticeships and training to young people in the Midlands and Futures jointly owns this with Nottingham Community Housing Association.

Lindsey Williams, Group Chief Executive at Futures said: "As co-owners of Access Training we’re so delighted to see Will’s commitment and passion for helping young people recognised through this fantastic honour.”
