Futures has successfully completed a best practice Five Star Occupational Health and Safety Audit, conducted by the British Safety Council. The grading demonstrates Futures commitment towards the continual improvement of its health and safety management systems.
Futures underwent a comprehensive and robust evaluation of its occupational health and safety policies, processes and practices over the course of four days in October. This included documentation reviews, interviews with senior management, employees and other key stakeholders.
Dean Tonks, Health Safety & Environment manager at Futures said: "This is some achievement and shows that collaborative working among team members, management, executive and board can bring positive outcomes. We should now benchmark this grading and aim to become even stronger, making Futures a safer and healthier place for all."
The audit measured performance against key health and safety management indicators and included a detailed review of almost sixty component elements! Futures was awarded a five star grading following the audit which is reflective of a best practice organisation.
