We know it can be difficult living with noise nuisances, and we want to make it easier for our customers to keep a log of disturbances that need investigating. That’s why we’re now working with The Noise App, a third-party application that helps us to hear what you’re hearing and respond quicker to complaints.
Now, when you report a noise complaint, we’ll invite you to download The Noise App and create an account. Once we’ve verified it, you’ll be able to send us recordings of the disturbances you’re encountering at any time of day or night. This will allow our investigating officers to hear exactly what the problem is so they can work with you to find a suitable resolution.
Don’t worry if you’d prefer not to use a third-party application – we’re still happy to work with traditional incident logs. This is just one way we can investigate complaints to get to the best resolution for everyone.
Please don’t download The Noise App unless we’ve asked you to. We will only verify your account if we’re expecting you to send us recordings – so make sure you get in touch with us first so we can support you as quickly as possible.
