We’re thrilled to announce that last week Futures was awarded the coveted Investor in People Platinum award! Only around 1% of organisations which take part in the IiP accreditation receive this national award aimed at making sure all employees get the best experience at work. In 2018 we were awarded Investor in People Gold, but this year we wanted to go further and aim for platinum.

Lindsey Williams, Group Chief Executive, commented:
“This is a huge vote of recognition for everyone at Futures, reflecting the hard work put in to develop our great culture together. Our aim is to develop a workplace that supports all of our people to be the best we can be, to aim high and to achieve. We should all feel really proud about this accreditation which demonstrates we are delivering against the aims of our unique culture. We shall wear our ‘badge’ with platinum pride.”

The assessment process takes many months and involves a deep dive of the organisation that includes an assessor attending interviews and meetings along with robust evidence-gathering by the organisation. Meeting the IiP criteria of improving, leading and supporting its people, has resulted in this prestigious accreditation that only one in every 8,000 organisations receive.

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Futures Housing Group. Being awarded Platinum accreditation is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and Futures is in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people".

It’s an exciting time for the organisation. Futures continues to make good progress with its performance aligned to its corporate plan that was launched in September 2020, and last month Futures was announced as a finalist in the East Midlands Chamber’s Enterprising Women ‘Team of the Year’ award.

Well done to everyone involved!
