Futures Housing Group (FHG) works in partnership with a range of agencies including; Police, Fire Service, Local Authority departments including the Community Safety Partnership, local parish councils, support agencies, care services and voluntary groups, to support and maintain our neighbourhoods and resolve issues our Customers may be experiencing. We have in-house teams who provide specialist support in response to our Customers’ individual needs supporting the work of Local Strategic Partnerships and directly via credit unions and health and age related support.
We have developed a policy regarding the maintenance and upkeep of our neighbourhood areas, which covers our role in keeping our communal areas and facilities clean and safe, and outlines how we will tackle incidents of damage or misuse. We consulted with our Customers who are members of our online community regarding this to ensure that the Policy addressed our responsibilities.
We also deal with issues that affect our areas of responsibility such as abandoned vehicles and fly-tipping. Our team members inspect communal areas such as grassed areas, internal stairwells and bin stores on a fortnightly basis and our play areas each week. Where we identify graffiti on our property, we will remove this within one working day if it is offensive in nature and five working days if not. If you have any issues with unsocial behaviour in your neighbourhood, you can take a look at our advice guide to seek support.
If you would like to know more about the role we play in the wider community please contact us using our enquiry form and selecting ‘I have a general question’.
