Futures’ chief appointed to the Chamber board
Futures Housing Group’s Chief Executive Lindsey Williams has been appointed to the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce Board along with two other regional leaders.
Lindsey is joined by Eileen Richards of ER Recruitment and Martin Rigley MBE of Lindhurst Engineering.
Lindsey has been Group Chief Executive since Futures Housing was formed as Amber Valley Housing in 2003. She is a passionate advocate for social housing. Formerly Chair of the East Midlands Regional Executive of the National Housing Federation she has been a strategic leader on various board during her career and is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Eileen Richards is the founder of Leicester-based ER Recruitment. She has worked in the recruitment industry for 20 years and is Co-Chair of Enterprising Women.
Martin Rigley founded Sutton-in-Ashfield-based Lindhurst Engineering in 1985. He was previously an electrical engineer for British Coal. A former Chair of the N2 Employment and Skills Board, he currently volunteers as a sector specialist for Nottingham Trent University and is a governor at Vision Studio School, Mansfield.
Phil Stanyer, Chairman of the Board of Directors at East Midlands Chamber, said: “Making sure that we have the right people on the board of directors, ensuring a balance across all sectors and with the widest possible experience is essential to making sure that the Chamber has the expertise to speak authoritatively on a diverse range of topics.
